Note: The following sections describe some of the procedures used to access and change certain options. These sections are not intended to replace or modify the instructions provided in DEFINITY Enterprise Communications Server Release 8 Administrator's Guide.

Contact the regional CSA (Customer Software Associate) to request an init login. The CSA assigns the Offer Category option. This option must be set before continuing with this installation. Limited command options are available until this option is set.

Task List: Administer the System

  1. Log into the System

  2. Change Customer Options

  3. Change Site Data (MCC only)

  4. Change Cabinet 1 (MCC only)

  5. Add Cabinet 2 through N (Release 8r)

  6. Set Country Options

  7. Change Craft Password

  8. Set Daylight Savings Rules

  9. Set Date and Time
