The default ringer frequency setting on the 1217A power supply for North America is 20 Hz and the international setting can be either 20 Hz or 25 Hz. To set the ringer frequency on the 1217A power supply:
- Power down AUDIX and any other circuit pack that might be running an application.
- Power down the cabinet.
- Release both latches on the power supply and slide the unit out of the cabinet.
- Observe the ring frequency switch label on the side of the power supply and locate the switch on the bottom.
- Set the ring frequency select switch to the appropriate frequency setting.
- Slide the power supply back into the slot and ensure that both latches snap closed.
