Working with Media

Media makes speech recognition applications more effective by providing a visual guide in addition to audio features. Voice and video integration enables combining standard Voice Portal audio processing with video.

Dialog Designer 5.0 introduces a set of media extensions to the standard Dialog Designer tools. These media elements are used to create Interactive Voice and Video Response (IVVR) applications. The IVVR applications can be used in:

• Call centers or help desks

• Travel reservations

• Banking applications
