CALLBACK NUMBERS

Country: from 0 to 4 digits.

Area/Trunk: from 0 to 7 digits.

Local Number: from 1 to 15 digits.

 

 

Enter the complete telephone number that other systems will use to contact this machine in the CALLBACK NUMBERS: fields. The callback number has three parts and must be no more than 15 digits.

Under Country, enter the Country Code of the callback number, from 0 to 4 digits. A Country Code of 0 is typically used to indicate that the callback number is a private network number. This field can be left blank.

Under Area/Trunk, enter the area code or trunk ID of the callback number, from 0 to 7 digits.

Under Local Number, enter the local telephone number of the callback number.

AMIS Analog Networking Incoming Allowed?

y = yes
n = no
Enter y or n in the AMIS Analog Networking Incoming Allowed? field to indicate whether incoming AMIS analog calls are accepted by the AUDIX system.

 

 

AMIS Analog Networking Outgoing Allowed?
y = yes
n = no
Enter y or n in the AMIS Analog Networking Outgoing Allowed? field to indicate whether outgoing AMIS analog calls are allowed on the AUDIX system.
AMIS Prefix

From 0 to 5 digits

Enter a prefix in the AMIS Prefix: field. You might need to specify an AMIS prefix to make AMIS analog addresses unique. If you assign an AMIS prefix, make sure you provide it to users.

AMIS Protocol—Use 8 Minutes For Incoming Message Length 0?

n = no

Enter y or n in the AMIS Protocol—Use 8 Minutes For Incoming Message Length 0? field. If an incoming message has a length of 0, or an unknown length, it is treated as an 8-minute-long message. If you specify n, messages can be subject to rejection if they are too long.

AMIS Loopback Test Mailbox Extension
From 0 to 10 digits
If you set up a loopback test mailbox, enter its extension in this field. Any message delivered to this special mailbox causes a reply message to be returned to the sending mailbox.
