Configuring Network Addresses

This topic provides information on configuring the TCP/IP interface.

To configure network addressing:

  1. Go to the Messaging Administration main menu and select TCP/IP Network Configuration.

    The system displays the Configure Network Addressing page.
     

    Note: The settings shown are examples only. Your page settings reflect the current entries for the system that you are administering.

  1. Complete the fields on the page. For more information, click the field names or Help on the web-based administration page.
  1. Click Save to accept the page settings.
  2. If you change the Host Name after installation, a dialog box informs you that the browser must be restarted:
    1. Click OK to continue. A results page displays.
    2. Click Logoff to restart the browser.
    3. Wait one minute, then log back into the system.

You can also click TCP/IP Diagnostics to open the TCP/IP Diagnostics page.
