The following events are generated by the SW application and indicate a switch integration problem:
SW IB120Description:This event indicates a process failure on the platform. Call transfers to an extension and message-waiting indicator (MWI) updates might fail. Repair Procedure:SW IB140Description:This event indicates a process failure on the platform and that MWI updates might not occur. Repair Procedure:SW IB150Description:This event indicates a process failure on the platform or that all channels were continuously busy while the switch integration software was trying to perform MWI updates. MWI updates will not occur. Repair Procedure:SW IF140Description:MWI blackout period starts. MWI updates will not occur during this period. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW IF150Description:MWI blackout period ends. MWI updates will resume. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW OVL080Description:The host switch link is up. The event message displays the switch number. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW OVL090Description:The remote switch link is up. The event message displays the switch number. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW OVL150Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system has stopped sending data until it receives an acknowledgment. If this condition persists, the link goes down, and the system issues either the SW OVERLAN 1 or SW OVERLAN 2 Major alarm. This event might indicate network delay. Repair Procedure:SW OVL220Description:The oehs process is ready to handle telephone calls. The initialization is completely healthy, and the system has created the sockets. This is a sanity event that indicates the successful installation of the package. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW OVL230Description:The PMS interface software is not installed. Repair Procedure:SW OVL250Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system received an abort disconnect message from the switch. This message can indicate that the switch is either going down or resetting. Repair Procedure:SW OVL260Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system received a normal disconnect message from the switch. This event can be a part of a normal switch shutdown. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW OVL270Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system received an unexpected control message from the switch that can indicate that:
If this condition continues, it eventually leads to a link down message that indicates that the INTUITY AUDIX system will drop the link and attempt to re-establish the link. Repair Procedure:SW OVL280Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system received an invalid sequence number in a data acknowledgment message from the switch. The system sent out data, and the acknowledgment message from the switch did not match the sent data. This message can indicate LAN problems. Repair Procedure:SW OVL300Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system is unable to open the options file. Repair Procedure:SW SA100Description:The call information cannot be sent to the Switch Integration Data Interface Process (SWINDIP) for parsing. SWINDIP is a background process for parsing received call information. This results in telephone calls receiving nonintegrated call answer. Subscribers might also be reporting inconsistent MWI updates. Repair Procedure:SW SA110Description:This event is related to interprocess communication (IPC) problems that are occurring on the system. Subscribers might be reporting inconsistent MWI updates. Repair Procedure:SW SE160Description:MWI updates will not occur. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW SE170Description:The received queue ID (QID) has an inadmissible value. Repair Procedure:SW SW100Description:A process is starting. The log will display the name of the process. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary.SW SW110Description:A process is starting. The log will display the name of the process. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary.SW SW120Description:SWINDIP failed to receive a message. Repair Procedure:SW SW130Description:SWINDIP failed to send a message. Repair Procedure:SW SW150Description:Failed to read parameter from file. Repair Procedure:SW SW180Description:The system could not parse switch information. Some or all of the telephone calls might receive nonintegrated call answer. Usually, this error happens only when the switch might be under a heavy load, and only some subset of calls will fail. Repair Procedure:SW SW190Description:The system could not log a message in the SWIN logs. Repair Procedure:SW SW210Description:The format of the file is not correct. The process is unable to open the file. Repair Procedure:SW SW220Description:The system was unable to write to a file. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW SX100Description:The system is not correctly performing MWI updates for a particular extension. Subscribers might be reporting inconsistent MWI updates. This event is related to IPC problems that are occurring on the system. Repair Procedure:SW SX110Description:The system is not correctly performing MWI updates for a particular extension. Subscribers might be reporting inconsistent MWI updates. This event is related to IPC problems that are occurring on the system. Repair Procedure:SW SX120Description:The system is not correctly performing MWI updates for a particular extension. Subscribers might be reporting inconsistent MWI updates. This event is related to IPC problems that are occurring on the system. Repair Procedure:SW SX140Description:The system is not correctly performing MWI updates for a particular extension. Subscribers might be reporting inconsistent MWI updates. This event is related to IPC problems that are occurring on the system. Repair Procedure:SW SX170Description:The system is not correctly performing MWI updates for a particular extension. Subscribers might be reporting inconsistent MWI updates. This event is related to IPC problems that are occurring on the system. Repair Procedure:SW TY120Description:Failed to write to the serial port. The event message will indicate if the problem is being caused by hardware or by administration. MWI updates will not occur. Repair Procedure:SW TY130Description:The switch is blocked from MWI updates because:
Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW TY150Description:The switch might be sending bad information to the INTUITY AUDIX system. Calls might be nonintegrated. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary. SW TY170Description:Link monitoring is used for this switch. Repair Procedure:No corrective action is necessary.
