Gathering Materials and Information

You need the following items to successfully complete a migration from a MERLIN LEGEND AUDIX Voice Power (IS II or IS III) system to the Avaya Intuity system:

Recording the MERLIN LEGEND AUDIX Voice Power (IS II or IS III) Profile Information

The Required Profile Information table lists the information you need from the MERLIN LEGEND AUDIX Voice Power (IS II or IS III) system before you begin the migration. If you do not have this information, retrieve it from the MERLIN LEGEND AUDIX Voice Power screens as described in procedures below.

You can find this information in one of two ways:

Displaying the Installed Applications Screen

To display the version number:

  1. Log in to the MERLIN LEGEND AUDIX Voice Power (IS II or IS III) machine as maint
  2. Enter displaypkg
  3. The system displays a list of software packages.

  4. Make a note of the release number of the MERLIN LEGEND AUDIX Voice Power (IS II or IS III) Application Software.
  5. Press F6 (Cancel) twice.
  6. The system returns to the AUDIX Voice Power Administration menu.

Displaying the System Parameter Administration Screen

To display the maximum extension length:

  1. Select:
  2. AUDIX Voice Power

    	system Parameter Administration

    The system displays the System Parameter Administration screen.

  3. Make a note of the value in the Maximum Extension Length: field.
  4. Press F6 (Cancel).
  5. The system returns to the AUDIX Voice Power Administration menu.

Displaying the Subscriber Administration Screen

To display the format for subscriber names:

  1. Select:
  2. Subscriber Administration

    The system displays the Subscriber Administration screen.

  3. Press F8 (Change Keys) to display the alternate set of function keys.
  4. Press F3 (Display Menu Options) to display the Options menu.
  5. Select:
  6. Display

  7. Make a note of the subscriber name format. Note whether the names are listed with first name first, first name last, or in either way. If both methods are used, determine which is used most frequently.
  8. Press F6 (Cancel).
  9. The system returns to the AUDIX Voice Power Administration menu.

  10. Return to the procedure checklist.
