NW SWANENAME

Description:

The local machine failed to communicate with the remote machine, machine_name. There are two possible causes:

Repair Procedure:
  1. Perform one of the following procedures:

NW SWANENAMEREM

Description:

The remote machine, machine_name, failed to communicate with the local machine because the remote machine's name is not in the local machine's database.

Repair Procedure:
  1. On the local machine, add an entry for the remote machine using the networking Remote Machine Administration windows.

NW SWANEPASS

Description:

The local machine failed to communicate with the remote machine, machine_name because the local machine did not know the correct password for the remote machine.

Repair Procedure:
  1. On the local machine, enter the correct password for the remote machine using the networking Remote Machine Administration windows.

NW SWANEPASSREM

Description:

The remote machine, machine_name, failed to communicate with the local machine because the remote machine did not know the correct password for the local machine.

Repair Procedure:
  1. On the remote machine, enter the correct password for the local machine using the networking Remote Machine Administration windows.

NW SWANEPERM

Description:

A low-level protocol error occurred between the local machine and the remote machine. As a result, these machines could not connect. The connection will be rescheduled for later.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANETHRESH

Description:

The local machine has repeatedly tried to send a networked message to the remote machine, machine_name, without success.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Perform a remote connection test.

NW SWANEUPDABORT1

Description:

A full update was in progress with the remote machine, machine_name, when an error occurred. This caused the update to be aborted. Transmissions to the remote machine are temporarily disabled. The system will attempt transmission later.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANEUPDABORT2

Description:

The local machine was unable to perform a full update to the remote machine, machine_name, because of errors.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANEUPDPERM1

Description:

The local machine failed to get a full subscriber update from the remote machine, machine_name, because the remote machine's permissions did not allow this.

Repair Procedure:

If you want the local machine to get updates from the remote machine, ask the remote machine's system administrator to do the following on the remote machine:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter change machine
  4. Verify that the Updates Out field on the second page of this screen is set to y.
  5. Press F1 (Cancel).
  6. Enter change machine local-machine-name
  7. Verify that Updates Out field on the second page of this screen is set to y.

NW SWANEUPDPERM2

Description:

The remote machine, machine_name, failed to acquire a full update from the local machine because the local machine's permissions do not allow this.

Repair Procedure:

If you want to send updates to the remote machine from the local machine, do the following on the local machine:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter change machine
  4. Verify that the Updates Out field on the second page of this screen is set to y.
  5. Press F1 (Cancel).
  6. Enter change machine machine _name (from the log).
  7. Verify that Updates Out field on the second page of this screen is set to y.

NW SWANEUPDPERM3

Description:

The local machine received a subscriber update from the remote machine, machine_name. However, the permissions on the local machine do not allow incoming updates from the remote machine.

Repair Procedure:

If you want the local machine to receive updates from the remote machine, do the following on the local machine:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter change machine
  4. Verify that the Updates Out field on the second page of this screen is set to y.
  5. Press F1 (Cancel).
  6. Enter change machine machine _name (from the log).
  7. Verify that Updates Out field on the second page of this screen is set to y.

NW SWANEUPDPERM4

Description:

The local machine failed to acquire a full update because the permissions on the local machine do not allow full updates.

Repair Procedure:

If you want to receive full updates on the local machine, do the following on the local machine:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter change machine
  4. Verify that the Updates Out field on the second page of this screen is set to y.
  5. Press F1 (Cancel).
  6. Enter change machine remote-machine-name
  7. Verify that Updates In field on the second page of this screen is set to y.

NW SWANEUPDREQD1

Description:

The local machine detected subscriber discrepancies while sending a message to the remote machine, machine_name. The discrepancies require a full update from the remote machine to the local machine.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANEUPDREQD2

Description:

The local machine detected subscriber discrepancies on the remote machine while sending a message to the remote machine, machine_name. These discrepancies require a full update from the remote machine to the local machine.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANEUPDREQD3

Description:

The local machine detected subscriber discrepancies while receiving a message from the remote machine, machine_name. These discrepancies require a full update to the remote machine from the local machine.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANEUPDSUB

Description:

The local machine reached the limit on the number of remote subscribers while adding the subscriber, subscriber_name, with extension, extension_no.

Repair Procedure:

To increase the limit on the number of remote subscribers:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter change system-parameters limits at the command line.
  4. Increase the number in the Administered Remote field.
  5. Press F3 (Enter).

NW SWANIUPDREQ

Description:

The remote machine, machine_name, has requested a full subscriber update from the local machine due to discrepancies.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANIUPDSTAT1

Description:

The local machine has started to receive a full subscriber update from the remote machine, machine_name.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANIUPDSTAT2

Description:

A full subscriber update (not including names) completed successfully from the remote machine, machine_name, to the local machine.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANIUPDSTAT3

Description:

A full subscriber update (not including names) completed successfully to the remote machine, machine_name, from the local machine.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANIUPDSTAT4

Description:

A full subscriber update (including names) completed successfully from the remote machine, machine_name, to the local machine.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANIUPDSTAT5

Description:

A full subscriber update completed successfully to the remote machine, machine_name, from the local machine.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

NW SWANIUPDSUBCHG

Description:

The local machine received a subscriber update from the remote machine, machine_name. However, the remote subscriber indicated by subscriber_name and extension_number was not administered on the local machine. This is because the subscriber's name or touch-tone equivalent of the name is the same as another existing local or remote administered subscriber.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Perform one of the following procedures:

NW SWNDINVLDEQP

Description:

The Networking Module detected that more ports are equipped in the Networking Database than are allowed by the purchased feature options. This message may appear after a restore.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.
