SW DCIU008

Description:

The system received an invalid switch number.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Switch Interface Administration
    DCIU Interface Administration

    The system displays the DCIU Interface Administration Window.

  3. Verify that the Host Switch number is correct.
  4. Verify that the Host Switch number is administered the same way on the switch.
  5. Call the Avaya Intuity system main number to verify that a call can be successfully placed.

SW DCIU009

Description:

The system received an incorrect AUDIX number from the switch.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Switch Interface Administration
    DCIU Interface Administration

    The system displays the DCIU Interface Administration Window.

  3. Verify that the AUDIX number is correct.
  4. Verify that the AUDIX number matches administration on the switch.

SW DCIU010

Description:

The system received the switch port number but expected number for channel number.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Switch Interface Administration
    DCIU Interface Administration

    The system displays the DCIU Interface Administration Window.

  3. Verify that the Switch Port number is correct.
  4. Verify that the Switch Port number matches the number administered on the switch.

SW DCIU011

Description:

The local port differs from the logical channel.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Switch Interface Administration
    DCIU Interface Administration

    The system displays the DCIU Interface Administration Window.

  3. Verify that the Logical Channel number is correct.
  4. Verify that the Logical Channel number matches the number administered on the switch.

SW IF110

Description:

The process received a bad switch id from another process.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW IF120

Description:

The system failed to update the message waiting indicator for a particular extension.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW IF130

Description:

The switch integration process received an invalid extension number.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW OVL100

Description:

The system received an invalid switch number.

Repair Procedure:

To repair the alarm:

  1. Check the host DEFINITY setup.
  2. Match the DEFINITY setup to the Avaya Intuity system.

SW OVL110

Description:

The system received an incorrect AUDIX number from a switch. The message displays the AUDIX number received and the switch number.

Repair Procedure:

To repair the alarm:

  1. Check the host DEFINITY setup.
  2. Match the DEFINITY setup to the Avaya Intuity system.

SW OVL120

Description:

Host name resolution failure. This failure can occur the Avaya Intuity system is administered with host names instead of IP addresses and the DNS server has:

Repair Procedure:

To repair the alarm:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Switch Interface Administration
    Call Data Interface Administration
    Switch Link Administration

  3. Verify the names of the machines in the IP Address/Host Name column. Check that the names are spelled correctly and apply to the correct systems.
  4. Correct any information that is wrong.
  5. Press F3 (Save).
  6. If you used host names on the Switch Link Administration window, select:
  7. TCP/IP Networking Administration

  8. Verify the Local Domain Name.
  9. Verify the DNS server identities. They must be correct for the network, or the Avaya Intuity system will not be able to establish an IP address for a host name listed on the Switch Link Administration window.
  10. Correct any information that is wrong.
  11. Press F3 (Save).
  12. If all of the information appears to be correct on the Avaya Intuity system, you may need to verify the administration on the LAN, the system, or the DNS server.
  13. Check the host setup on the DEFINITY switch.

SW SE120

Description:

The switch integration software received a message from the platform software that the port indicated is operational.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW SE130

Description:

The switch integration software received a message from the platform software that the port indicated is not operational.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW SW160

Description:

The initialization of the translation tables failed.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW TY160

Description:

None of the serial ports is operating.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW IB100

Description:

A switch integration process failed to log the channel after receiving a port in-service message.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW IB110

Description:

A switch integration process received an invalid channel number.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

SW VB508

Description:

The digital station interface process software could not use the attendant translation tables.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Check the attendant translation tables and verify that they are correct.
  2. If the attendant translation tables are correct, contact your remote maintenance center.

SW VB513

Description:

The switch integration process failed to update the message waiting indicator on the listed extension number through the listed digital station interface port.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Check the class of service (COS) setting on your switch for the extension listed in the message. Verify that the extension has all of the necessary privileges.
  2. If the extension is administered correctly on the switch and this condition persists, contact your remote maintenance center.

SW VB515

Description:

The digital station interface software failed to translate the attendant extension to the automated attendant extension number. The attendant translation tables might not be in use for this installation or they might not have been administered.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Check the attendant translation tables and verify that they are correct.
  2. If the attendant translation tables contain correct information, contact your remote maintenance center.

SW VB516

Description:

The system failed to use the attendant translations because the attendant translation tables could not be initialized.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Check the attendant translation tables and verify that they are correct.
  2. If the attendant translation tables are correct, contact your remote maintenance center.

SW VB517

Description:

The system failed to translate an extension on the switch to its AUDIX extension number.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Check the Dial Plan Translation window and verify that the entry in the INTUITY Prefix field is correct.

SW WTR200

Description:

No SMDI link device is assigned.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Switch Interface Administration
    Switch Link Administration

  3. Press F2 (Choices) to view the valid serial port names.
  4. Select the serial port to be used for the switch link connection.
  5. Press F3 (Save) to change the screen.
  6. Stop the voice system.
  7. Start the voice system.
