Integration objects, like business objects, are made of components, which themselves are made of fields, as shown in the figure. This is comparable to the parent-child-data relationships found in XML.
Siebel eBusiness has the ability to create integration objects using the Integration Object Builder through Siebel Tools (see the Siebel 2000 Bookshelf: Siebel Integration Guide for instructions).
