Type of feature
When you use the Wink Start digital protocol with ports on an Avaya IR, you must have WebLM licenses for each port that uses the protocol.
Overview
T1 Wink Start is a trunking arrangement where either side can initiate actions. It is a common and reliable connection between switches and networks, computer telephony systems, or other switches. After a connection is established with a distant system for an outgoing call, the system waits for a momentary signal (wink) before sending the digits of the called number. Similarly, on an incoming call, the system sends the wink signal when ready to receive digits.
