Hardware malfunctions and failures

Hardware malfunctions and failures may stop or interfere with voice operations. These include problems in:

• The IR system itself
• Servers providing speech functions, database information, or both
• Connected MultiVantage (DEFINITY) systems

Hardware malfunctions and failures are relatively easy to identify. However, they are rarely a cause of problems.
