The following database systems can be used with Avaya IR and accessed through the JDBC Integration feature:

Oracle 8i, 9i, and 10g are the only databases that have been certified to run locally on the Avaya IR.
Avaya IR does not support stored procedures on Informix or MS SQL Server 7.0.
The database software can reside on any separate server and operating system that meets the requirements of the database software. For Oracle 8i and 9i, the database can reside locally on the Avaya IR or on a separate server.
You must download and install the JDBC drivers for any database system you choose to use, even for a locally installed Oracle database. For more information, see Installing JDBC drivers.
When installing database software, avoid conflicts with ports used by Avaya IR features. For port usage information, see the white paper, Avaya™ Interactive Response Security.
