The client.inet.userAgent string in the default.cfg provides browser information to Web servers.The value of this variable is concatenated with the version of libwww (libwww/5.3.2) to provide the User-Agent variable to Web servers. Web servers can use web content generation scripts that reference the user agent string and then dynamically display pages matched to the browser client.
The default value for this string is Avaya VXI/2.0, which will result in a User-Agent variable of AvayaVXI/2.0 libwww/5.3.2
Note:
In releases of Avaya IR prior to Release 1.2.1, the default value was openVXI. Customer systems that use the client.inet.userAgent string for web content generation must adjust the value in the generation scripts to match the new string.
