You can use the client.vxi.beepURI parameter, in the default.cfg file, to specify the location of the beep to be sent to the user. This parameter is used in certain cases, such as before recording an utterance from the user.
The location of the default VoiceXML 2.0 properties is $(AVBHOME)/prompts/beep.ulaw, and this parameter only accepts string inputs.
