Description

An internal voice system process received an unexpected message from the process identified in this message. The message has been ignored.

Repair procedure

Caution:
This repair procedure requires you to stop the voice system. Stopping the voice system ends call processing. Stop the voice system at times of little or no call activity, or re-route calls to agents or to another IR system.

To correct the problem:

  1. Identify the source of the unexpected message.
  2. This information is in the generated message.
  3. If the source of the unexpected message is an application data interface process (DIP), contact the application developer.
  4. If the source of the unexpected message is not a DIP, stop and start the voice system.
  5. If the problem persists, confirm that all installed system software packages are compatible with the installed version of the IR system software package.
  6. Remove any software package that is incompatible and install the proper version.
