Use this page to add a new extension range or to change an existing
range for Dial Plan Mapping for a remote machine.
This page contains the following fields.
Remote Machine Name: This display-only
field indicates the remote machine for which you are adding Dial Plan Mapping.
Mailbox ID Length: This display-only field indicates
the number of digits in a mailbox ID for the selected remote machine.
Start Extension: Type the first
mailbox ID in the range that you want to map.
End Extension: Type the last mailbox
ID in the range that you want to map.
Note: If your system has a default SMTP/MIME remote machine
to handle SMTP messages from remote machine that are not administered,
the SMTP/MIME Auto-Assign Mailbox
ID field on the General Parameters page is used to determine
the starting number to use when automatically assigning network
addresses to new subscribers on this remote machine. If this field
reaches the highest network address allowed in the default SMTP
remote machine's dial plan, an alarm is recorded in the Administrator's
Log and the Maintenance Log, and the field becomes unavailable.
If this problem occurs, you must modify
the dial plan for the default SMTP remote machine to increase
the mailbox ID ranges, then enter a new value for the SMTP/MIME
Auto-Assign Mailbox ID field that is within the modified dial plan
range.
