The system automatically activates the on-board modem for the
type of RMB installed in the United States. However, international
users must activate the external modem that connects to the RMB
on the server. This modem is used to report alarms, and to allow
remote support personnel to dial in to the server.
To activate the modem for an external RMB board:
- Start at the Administration menu, and select Basic System
Administration > Modem and Terminal Administration >
Install Modem/Terminal software.
The Install Modem/Terminal Software page displays.
- Locate Device Type RMB and update the fields
for the modem you are using. Click Help for information
about completing each field.
- When finished, click Save.

Click Return to Main to return to the Administration menu.
