Voice fragments

This topic provides an overview of voice fragments used in the Message Networking system and in the Enterprise List application within Message Networking. The following table contains a description of the language function and the announcement or voice fragment that is the response, as used in the Message Networking system.

Announcement Description

"private" "priority" "message from" <voice name>

Used when sending messages to Audio Messaging Interchange Specification (AMIS) recipients, if these options are activated.
"Your number was dialed by mistake. We are sorry for this inconvenience. To prevent this from recurring, this call has been reported as a misdialed call. This is an automated call, please press 1 to disconnect." Played if no tones are heard when someone calls a remote AMIS machine.

"Your message with a message ID of" <message ID>

"has been returned to your incoming mailbox"

 

 
  • Used to notify a sender that the message of the sender could not be delivered.
  • This announcement accompanies a copy of the original message.
  • The message ID phrase is optional.
  • Options for "your message" fragment are listed below in this table.
  • Usually followed by error conditions, which are listed below in this table.

Used for various message types in failure notification.

  • Used to notify a sender which recipients did not receive a message, and the reason for the failure.
  • Note recipient versus plural recipients fragment.
  • Usually followed by the appropriate error condition fragment, which are listed below in this table.

"because the maximum 8-minute message length was exceeded"
"due to special feature denial on the recipient's machine"

  • Used for various error conditions in failure notification.
  • A copy of the original message will be in the sender's incoming mailbox (as a separate message in its original state) and will be available to resend. The voiced name originator of this message will be "The Network." This voiced name will not apply to messages that originated from AMIS Analog senders (that is, the original AMIS Analog message must remain intact).

  • Used to announce the message ID of the failed message.
  • Used to announce mailbox IDs and destinations.
"One or more components of this multimedia message could not be delivered. Please contact the sender." This message is prefixed in front of the voice component of a message when one or more component types have been stripped.

"Your fax message is attached." Used as a voice component when a fax-only message is sent to an Aria.
"Your message to" (usually followed by <voiced name> network address <network address>)
"was delivered; however, the mailbox had an Extended Absence Greeting."
" A copy of the original message has been returned to your incoming mailbox. "
  • Single version of Extended Absence Greeting Warning notification.
  • It is an option for the original message to be returned to the sender as a separate message.

"Your message was delivered; however, the following recipients had an Extended Absence Greeting."

  • Multiple version of Extended Absence Greeting Warning notification.
  • It is an option for the original message to be returned to the sender as a separate message.
<Beep> "Please do not reply to this message. I'm sorry, but replies to this message cannot be answered." Prefixes a no-reply Enterprise List message.
<Beep> "If you reply to the sender, your response will also be sent to everyone who originally received this message. Prefixes a reply-all Enterprise List message.
