This topic provides the following information on ELA maintenance:
Checking the Administrator's
Log
The system warns you of potential administrative
problems with ELA by displaying a minor alarm or warning message
(Alarms: w or Alarms: m) when it logs an administration event. Check
the status line (at the top of the Administration screen) at least
once a day.
Check for ELA-specific events on a regular
basis to monitor ELA performance. To view ELA-specific log entries:
-
Start at the Administration main menu and select:

time.
- Select EL in the Application

the alarm entries.

action.
- Click Return to Main.

The delivery failure log contains entries
for failed deliveries, along with descriptive data regarding the
cause for the failure and other information. Check this log to monitor
ELA and system performance and if a subscriber complains that messages
are not being delivered.
