After Email (Internet Messaging) is activated,
administered, and functioning properly on your Avaya™ S3400
Messaging Server, you can notify your subscribers of their email
addresses (so remote users can directly send them messages) and
that they can set up email client programs, such as Outlook 2000
and Outlook Express, to access voice and email messages located
on the S3400.
Note: Before notifying subscribers about
Email (Internet Messaging) capabilities and setup, you might
want to verify that LDAP is enabled on the S3400. Then when
you are notifying subscribers about Email (Internet Messaging),
you can also notify them about the LDAP directory feature. See
LDAP directory for more information. |
See the Client Access to
a Subscriber Mailbox (pdf) printable guide for instructions
on how subscribers can set up email clients to access voice and
email messages located on the S3400.
