The Address Ranges screen displays
a numerical list of address ranges that belong to all machines in
the network. You can use this screen to determine if you have overlapping
address ranges in your network. If you have overlapping address
ranges, you need to add a prefix for address ranges on the local
or remote Machine Profile screens for any overlapping addresses.
To list address ranges:
- Start at the Messaging Administration main
menu and select:
Global Administration
Messaging Administration
The system displays the SSH User Authentication
dialog box. Enter your login, for example, sa or vm, in the User name field
and your password in the Password field. Click Login. The system then
displays the Messaging command prompt screen.
- Enter list
address-ranges or list address-ranges starting_address
at the enter command prompt.
The system displays
the following message:

all address ranges for all machines in the network, leave the
default at n for no.
- To display
only ranges with the maximum number of overlaps, that is, 16 machines
with overlapping address ranges, type y for yes.
- Press F3
(Enter).
The system displays
the Address Ranges screen. See the table for Field
definitions: Address Ranges screen for field descriptions
of this display-only screen.
- Use F7
(Next Page) and F8 (Prev Page) to scroll through
the screens, if applicable.
- Press F1
(Cancel).
The cursor returns
to the command line, and the system displays the following message:
Command Successfully
Completed.
- Enter another
administrative command at the enter command prompt
or click Return to Main.
