This topic describes how you can change the way local subscribers
display on the Manage local subscribers page and on the Report of
local subscribers page. The default sort order is to display all
subscribers alphabetically. Using this task you can sort local subscribers
so that they display in a different order or you can filter them
so that only subscribers with specific attributes display.
- Start at the Messaging Administration main
menu and select:
Global Administration
Subscriber Management
The system displays the Managing Subscribers page.
- Click Filter in the Local Subscribers row.
The system displays the Sort and Filter Local Subscribers page.
- Complete the fields on the page as needed.
For example, if you need to find a subscriber with the last name
of Finnegan, you can filter subscribers to show only the subscribers
whose last names start with the letters Fi to Fj. To do this,
enter Fi in the field that appears in the Name
row and under the Filters From column, and enter Fk
in the field that appears in the Name row and under the Filters
To column. Note that filter criteria for names are case-sensitive.
You can filter subscribers further by entering a mailbox range.
For example, entering 50000 in the field that
appears in the Mailbox Number row and under the Filters From column,
and entering 52000 in the Mailbox Number row
and under the Filters To column finds all mailboxes that exist
in that range for subscribers whose last names start with the
letters Fi to Fj. Note that the Filter From and To values for
mailbox numbers need to match the mailbox number length.
