Accessing the product ID

The product ID is a 10-digit number used to identify your Avaya message server. You must have the product ID when you are contacting your remote support center.

To access the product ID:

  1. Start at the Messaging Administration main menu and select:
  2. Basic System Administration
         Alarming Administration

    The system displays the Alarm Management page.

  3. Record the product ID that displays in the Product ID field for use with the remote support center.
  4. Click Back in the web browser to return to the Basic System Administration page or, if you are finished performing basic system administration, click Return to Main.
