The Message Storage Server (MSS) is shipped from the factory with
the Linux operating system software already installed. You can reinstall
the Linux operating software if a catastrophic hard disk failure
occurred, which forced a hard disk replacement. The Linux operating
system software is located on the Avaya™ Modular Messaging
Release 1 Message Storage Server (MSS) Software CD, Issue 1 or later.
