Configuring the primary peer server and directory server

To select the peer mail server and directory server, use the Messaging dialog box, General tab.

To configure messaging:

  1. In the Voice Mail System Configuration window, click Message Application Servers.
  2. Note: You may need to expand the tree to see the MAS you want.
  3. Under that MAS, double-click Messaging.
  4. The system displays the Messaging dialog box, with the General tab active.

  5. In the Mail Server Name field, enter the domain name of the MAS.
  6. The tab display automatically updates with the MAS domain details.

  7. In the Primary Directory Server field, enter the mail path and name of the directory server on which the voice mail domain object is installed.
  8. By default, this is the directory server specified when the MAS was installed.

  9. Click OK.
