Assigning a Send message action

The Send message action lets the caller leave a message.

To assign a Send message action:

  1. Display the General tab.
  2. Click Action type > Send message.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Mailbox  Enter the mailbox number to which the recorded message is sent. The mailbox must be in the voice mail domain to which the caller application is deployed.
    • Provided by runtime  Select to automatically enter the mailbox number provided by the caller application's association or by the mailbox to which the caller application has been bound using the subscriber administration tool. If this option is selected, the Mailbox field is disabled.
    • Next node  Select to route a caller to the specified next step after they have recorded and sent a message.
    • Cancel destination node  Select to route a caller to the specified next step if the recording is canceled.
  4. Click OK or Apply.
