Introduction to caller applications

Modular Messaging Caller Applications software enables you to enhance and extend the telephone user interface (TUI) by creating additional menus and prompts. For example, you can create a caller application that automates call handling and routes incoming calls directly to departments within your organization.

Caller Applications software

The Caller Applications software consists of two components:

Caller Applications Editor

Caller Applications Editor consists of Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-ins and extensions. It is added to the Avaya Modular Messaging menu during installation.

Caller Applications Runtime

Caller Applications Runtime is an MAS subsystem that executes caller applications. It must be installed on all the MASs in the voice mail domain.
