Enabling transaction generation

The system extracts report information from the transaction database. This means that transaction generation must be enabled for the voice mail domain and for the time period on which you want to report. By default, transaction generation is disabled.

The transaction database is part of the tracing system. For more information about the tracing system, see Voice Mail Domain Administration.

To enable transaction generation:

  1. Start Voice Mail System Configuration.
  2. Click the voice mail domain.
  3. Double-click Tracing System.
  4. Click the Transaction Generation tab.
  5. Click Enable Transaction Generation.
  6. Click OK.
  7. By default, transactions are generated at midnight.
