Setting up the caller application

To set up the caller application

  1. Click Start > Programs > Avaya Modular Messaging > Caller Applications.
  2. The MAS Caller Applications Editor console appears.

    In the left pane, click Modular Messaging Caller Apps.

  3. From the Action menu, click New > Caller Application.
  4. Enter a name for the caller application in the Application name field.
  5. In this case the caller application is called Example. The system displays the this name on an administrator’s screen when the caller application is deployed.

  6. Enter a short description of the application in the Application description field.
  7. This is optional. The description provides the text that appears when the application properties are displayed.

  8. Do not change the default language setting.
  9. Leave the Design for VMD check box cleared.
  10. This box specifies the voice mail domain where the caller application will be deployed. This information is not a prerequisite for building a caller application.

  11. Click OK.
  12. The caller application appears as a node labelled with the caller application’s name under Modular Messaging Caller Apps.
