Field definitions: Remote Message Monthly Traffic report

Field Name Description/Procedure
Machine Name The name of the networked machine you entered on the command line.
Machine Type The type of machine for this remote machine. The entry for this field is always ldap.
Date The starting month for which traffic data was collected for the report. It is the month you entered on the command line or the current date if you did not specify a month.

If you enter a month previous to the current month, each month's record is presented as an additional page (screen). Press F7 (Next Page) and F8 (Prev Page) to scroll through each monthly report record.

Ending Date The day on which data collection ended.
Local Origination
Transfer Sessions The number of message transfer sessions that occurred during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period.
Usage (seconds) The total number of seconds for all message transfer sessions that occurred during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period.
Average Usage The average length, in seconds, of a message transfer session during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period.
Messages Sent The total number of messages sent from the local messaging machine to the remote messaging machine during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period.
Messages Rejected The total number of messages rejected by the local messaging machines during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period. For call delivery machines, if there is no positive confirmation, the message is recorded as rejected.
Admin Updates The total number of administration updates (name, voice name, extension, community changes, add and delete local subscribers) sent from the local messaging machine to the remote messaging machine during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period.
Remote Origination

Messages Rejected The total number of messages rejected by the local and remote messaging machines during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period. For call delivery machines, if there is no positive confirmation, the message is recorded as rejected.
Admin Updates The total number of administration updates (name, voice name, extension, community changes, add and delete local subscribers) sent from the remote messaging machine to the local messaging machine during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period.
Session Failures Far End "No Answer" The number of unsuccessful call attempts from the local messaging machine to the remote messaging machine during prime and non-prime hours during the reporting period.
