Running a Subscriber Daily or Monthly Traffic Report

This topic describes how to run a Subscriber Daily or Monthly Traffic Report:

Running a Subscriber Daily Traffic Report

The Subscriber Daily Traffic Report shows traffic information about a specific subscriber for any day within the most recent eight day period. This report can help you track a particular subscriber's mail-usage patterns.

To run a Subscriber Daily Traffic Report:

  1. On the Messaging Measurements page, type the password associated with you administration account (login) and press Enter ( ).
  2. At the enter command prompt, type either:
    • list measurements subscriber day username/extension
    • list measurements subscriber day username/extension mm/dd/yy
    • where username/extension is the name or telephone extension of the administered messaging subscriber you want a report for and mm/dd/yy is the starting date up to seven days previous to the current date that you want as a starting point for the report.

      If you do not enter a date, the current date is used.

      Note: If the subscriber's name is administered in your system with an embedded space, such as Jane Doe, you must type the name enclosed in quotation marks, for example, "Jane Doe".

      The system displays the Subscriber Daily Traffic screen. See the Field definitions: Subscriber Daily Traffic report, page 1 which details the fields on this screen.

  3. Press F7 (Next Page) to access each of the following screens, and use the Field definitions that details the fields on these screens to fill in the information.
  4. Press F1 (Cancel) to return the cursor to the enter command prompt.

Running a Subscriber Monthly Traffic Report

The Subscriber Monthly Traffic Report shows traffic information about a specific subscriber for any month within the most recent 12-month period. This report can help you track a particular subscriber's mail-usage patterns.

To run a Subscriber Monthly Traffic Report:

  1. On the Messaging Measurements page, type the password associated with you administration account (login) and press Enter ( ).
  2. At the enter command prompt, type either:
    • list measurements subscriber month username/extension
    • list measurements subscriber month username/extension mm/yy
    • where username/extension is the name or telephone extension of the administered messaging subscriber you want a report for and mm/yy is the starting month up to 12 months previous to the current month that you want as a starting point for the report.

      If you do not specify a month, the current month is used.

      Note: If the subscriber's name is administered in your system with an embedded space, such as Jane Doe, you must type the name enclosed in quotations, for example, "Jane Doe".

      The system displays the Subscriber Monthly Traffic screen, page 1. See the Field definitions: Subscriber Monthly Traffic report, page 1 which details the fields on this screen.

  3. Press F7 (Next Page) to access each of the following screens, and use the Field definitions that details the fields on these screens to fill in the information.
  4. Press F1 (Cancel) to return the cursor to the enter command prompt.
