MAS Intro - Subscriber Administration (IBM Lotus Domino)

Avaya has enhanced the Domino Directory to store subscriber information in the Person document.

Administrators can use the Domino Administrator client to enable mail files for use with Avaya Modular Messaging.

Administrators can use the Domino Administrator client, or subscribers can use the Notes client, to modify Modular Messaging settings. The changes are distributed throughout the Domino environment.


Notes: The Notes client is installed on the MAS for use by the MAS only. Using it for any other purpose could result in exception errors. Subscriber administration for IBM Lotus Domino is not performed on the MAS. You must not install any DUC software on the MAS. Subscriber Administration for IBM Lotus Domino is not documented in this guide because it is not performed on the MAS. Please see the Domino Unified Communications 1.2.3 Administration Help for Avaya, instead.
