Administering subscriber interfaces

The following table lists the subscriber interfaces of Modular Messaging and information about administering each interface on a system-wide basis. For more information about any of the subscriber interfaces, see Concepts and Planning (pdf).

Subscriber interface Administration information
Avaya Speech Access

No administration tasks are required.

Telephone user interfaces

  • Aria for Modular Messaging
  • AUDIX for Modular Messaging
  • Serenade for Modular Messaging

The telephone user interfaces can be enabled, configured, or both using the VMSC program. For more information about the VMSC program, see Chapter 2 "Voice Mail System Configuration (VMSC)" in the Avaya Modular Messaging Software - Messaging Application Server Administration Guide (pdf).

Subscriber Options

No administration tasks are required.

Web Subscriber Options

After you install the Web Subscriber Options server or activate Web Subscriber Options on an MAS, complete initial administration tasks. For more information, see "Completing initial administration" in Chapter 3 of Modular Messaging Web Subscriber Options Server Installation.
