MAS Alarm - VS PERF 12 |
Major
Counter (virtual bytes) for vserver process greater than 1.8GB
This alarm indicates that the counter (in virtual bytes) for the voice server process is greater than 1.8 GB. This means that the voice server process has exceeded the recommended virtual memory usage.
This problem is typically caused by memory leaks in the system. When this happens, the system can become unstable, and one or more processes or services can begin to fail.
To recover from this alarm, you must stop and restart the voice server (MM Messaging Application Server service). See MAS - Stopping and Restarting Modular Messaging (MM) Services.
