VMSC - MAS - PBX Type Dialog Box

This topic describes how to use the PBX Type dialog box to select the PBX type for the MAS.

You must select a type, when you physically change the PBX connected to an MAS, or add an MAS to a voice mail domain.

To open the PBX Type dialog box:

In the Voice Mail System Configuration window, click the voice mail domain.

Click Message Application Servers.

Click on the MAS you want to configure.

Double-click PBX Type. The system displays the PBX Type dialog box for the selected MAS, with the General tab active. There is only one tab.

To configure PBX Type General properties, complete the following fields:

Telephony Type Select the type of PBX you require. The PBX list is then updated to show the PBXs available for that type.

PBXs Click to select the required PBX from those available for the selected Telephony Type.
