This topic describes how to change the MSS
passwords using the web-based administration pages. System administrators
who log in with the sa login can change the password for the sa,
sappp, and vm logins. See Password administration guidelines for information on information on assigning MSS passwords.
Note: If you are the system administrator
using the sa login and you lose the sa password, contact the
remote support center to establish
a new password.
To change an MSS login password:
- From the MSS Messaging Administration menu, select Basic System Administration > Password Administration > Assign/Change
Password.
The system displays the Assign/Change Password page.
- At the Login drop-down list, select the

on the web-based administration page.

containing 6 to 11 alphanumeric characters. The characters you enter appear as asterisks for security purposes.

the new password again for verification. The characters you enter appear as asterisks for security purposes.
- Click Save.
The system displays a confirmation message
that the password has been successfully changed for the specific
login.
