Transmitting test packets from the MSS

To transmit test packets:

1. On the Send & Receive Test Packets To & From page, type the internet protocol (IP) address of the system for which you want to run the test in the IP Address field.
2. Click Save to run the test.
3. Evaluate the results and proceed as follows:
• If the results show 0% packet loss, continue with Verifying the IP address for networked machines.
• If the results show 100% packet loss, continue with Correcting diagnostic failures for the system.
