To correct connectivity diagnostic failures for the system:
- On the Test
Packet results page, click Cancel.
The system displays
the Send & Receive Test Packets From page.
- Verify that
the IP address you entered into the IP Address field is correct:
- If it does not match,
re-enter the correct address and repeat the Transmitting
test packets procedure.
- If it matches, continue
with Step 3.
- Click Cancel
until you reach the TCP/IP Administration and Diagnostics page.
- Set up network
addressing. See Chapter 3, "Doing
initial MSS administration," in the Installation and Upgrades guide (pdf) for more information.
- Attempt the
test again. If the test is successful, continue with Verifying
the IP address for networked machines. If the test fails a second
time, contact your remote support center.
