Viewing a classes-of-service report

A class-of-service is a set of messaging capabilities that you define and assign to subscribers. Your system offers 512 classes-of-service with the default names class00 through class511. These 512 classes-of-service, which all contain the same default values at installation, are available for you to modify and rename as needed to meet the requirements of subscribers within your organization. You can assign the same class-of-service to any and all subscribers or assign different classes-of-service for up to 512 unique groups of subscribers.

The Classes-of-service report lists the current name and number for each of the 512 classes-of-service. The names, when clicked, allow you to edit the particular class-of-service. For more information about editing classes-of-service, see Editing a class-of-service.

Note: You can use this procedure or the Mailbox Manager application to view a classes-of-service report. The Mailbox Manager application allows you to create a more advanced classes-of-service report. For more information about Mailbox Manager, see the Mailbox Manager User Guide.

To view the Classes-of-Service report, on the Manage Classes-of-Service page, click Display Report of COSs. You can print this page for reference. You can also click on the class-of-service names to edit a particular class-of-service.
