System 75 XE to R8si (Blowback)

Save translations to tape [75 XE upgrade]

As a safety precaution, create a backout tape:

  1. Log into the DEFINITY switch.

  2. Type save translation and press Enter.


Note: If the system uses the TN750C announcement circuit pack (which has onboard, nonvolatile memory) you do not need to save announcements. Stop here.

  1. If the system uses the TN750B or earlier announcement circuit pack, type display announcements and press Enter.

  2. If administered recorded announcements are listed, type list configuration software-version and press Enter.

  3. Check page 2 of this form to see when the announcements were last saved, and ask the customer whether any announcements have changed since then.

  4. If announcements have changed, type save announcements and press Enter.
