Installing the Avaya Voice Player

Note

The Avaya Voice Player can be installed on Windows computers only. The Avaya Voice Player is not supported on Mac computers.

  1. From Application controls, select Settings.
  2. In the Settings dialog box, select the Other tab.
  3. Click Download on the entry for the Avaya Voice Player.
  4. In the File Download - Security window, click one of the following:
    • Run to install the Avaya Voice Player immediately.

    • Save to save the installer to your computer and install the Avaya Voice Player at a later time.

  5. If you saved the Avaya Voice Player installer, navigate to the location and double-click the AvayaVoicePlayer.msi file.
  6. In the Setup screen, click Next.
  7. In the User Information screen:
    1. In the Full Name field, type your name.
    2. In the Organization field, type the name of your employer.
    3. Select a user option.

      For example, if you share the computer and do not want others to be able to record messages in your one-X Portal, select the Only for me option.

    4. Click Next
  8. In the Destination Folder screen, do one of the following then click Next:
    • Accept the default installation folder.

    • Click Browse and navigate to your preferred installation folder.

  9. In the Ready to Install the Application screen, click Next.
  10. After the installer has finished the installation of the Avaya Voice Player, click Finish.
