A software installation can be interrupted if:
You cancel the Install New Software wizard at any point.
You are interrupted and the web interface times out and you are logged off.
The system memorizes the point of interruption when you (or anyone) log in and run the Install New Software wizard:
After you log in and click Install New Software Release, a message appears indicating the session is already in progress.
If you take over the session, the installation procedure returns to whatever point of interruption. Continue the installation, or Cancel if you are uncertain where you are in the process.
If you choose not to take over the session, the Choose Software screen appears, and the installation is cancelled.
