


Use the Install screen to install an Avaya root certificate on your computer to establish Avaya Inc. as a trusted Certificate Authority (CA). See Security certificates overview for details.
To install an Avaya root certificate:
In the main menu of the media server web interface under Security, click Install Avaya Root Certificate. The Install Avaya Root Certificate screen appears.
Click the radio button for the type of browser you are using: Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator.
Click Install. You are prompted to download the certificate.
Internet Explorer:
From the File Download dialog box, click Open. Do not save this file to disk!
From the Certificate dialog box, under General tab, click Install Certificate.
The Certificate Manager Import Wizard guides you through the process. Accept all default values. On the final screen, wait for the install to complete, click Finish.
A Root Certificate Store message may appear. Click Yes to add this certificate to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
Netscape Navigator:
In the Download Certificate dialog box, check the box for "Trust this CA to identify web sites".
Click OK to finish installing the certificate.
