We recently upgraded our System Manager from 6.1 to 6.3 and lost all of our custom system administration roles. I need to reestablish custom roles for system administrators. I am not able to create a custom role that allows administrator to only have access to Session Manager Routing Administration Element and specific routing application only (Adaptations and Dial Patterns).
The System Manager 6.2 guide indicates under adding a role I should be able to add mapping for operations and have access to 850 individual operations. I also recently attended a System Manager class and was able to configure the custom roles I need on a 6.2 system. However, release 6.3 does not behave the same way as 6.2 and it appears to be no useful documentation on 6.3 that details configuring granular custom roles for system administration users.
How does granular custom roles this work on 6.3 or did we lose the ability to customize roles to the granular level with System Manager 6.3?
Can someone explain how to define granular custom roles in 6.3? An example would be a role for administrators that only includes access to the NRP element (Home / Elements / Routing) and only the routing applications Adaptions and Dial Patterns.
