There were six diagnostic patches included in the R7.6 SP3. At the time due to oversight these six diagnostic patches were not clearly called out in the Release Notes for SP3 (though were referenced in the “Fixes delivered” table).
You may have noticed that the R7.6 SP4 Release Notes have been updated in the last week or so (SP4 was released 17th December). The reason for the update was to add a brief summary on those diagnostic patches – that information is included in the “What’s new in CS1000 Rls 7.6 SP3” section in the Release Notes.
Six new diagnostic patches are included in SP3. The intent is to have the diagnostic capability already deployed but inactive on the customer sites, and it can be activated by Avaya Support as required. These new diagnostic capabilities are for use by Avaya Support, or by partners when requested to do so by Avaya Support as part of resolving a customer issue.
The following is a brief summary of each diagnostic patch.
1. MPLR32733: Diagnostic Patch Tool Management
2. MPLR32734: Log the record at midnight if Lampaudit is turned off
3. MPLR32773: Diagnostic for BUG266 call scenarios
4. MPLR32782: Diagnostic for AUD017/AUD018 call scenarios
5. MPLR32858: Store the GF Error Log in the RPT log file.
6. MPLR32855: Diagnostic for AUD031/AUD032 call scenarios
As noted, these diagnostic patches are intended to be used by Avaya Support – partners may be requested to activate same if needed.
