ASBCE 8.1.3 Rate Limiting
Hi Everyone,
I am experiencing a problem where Avaya SBCE on release 8.1.3 will intermittently (up to 4 times a day) implement UDP_Rate_Limit commands using IPTABLES and this causes the links to SIP entities, including the Session Manager link to drop due to OPTIONS messages not reaching the SBC. Has anyone seen this before?
I am suspecting a flood on the network or Fragmentation, but cannot confirm it.
Any help would be appreciated.

- Dos Rate limiting settings in GUI are all set to Aleet Only.
- Avaya has confirmed the Firewall.sh file has a default Rate Limit set to 400 and 1200 burst and will implement rate limiting. This will implement rate limiting even if the config is Alert Only.
I am suspecting a flood on the network or Fragmentation, but cannot confirm it.
