All,
we have configured H.323 trunks between Aura CM and CS 1000 as per application note: Configuring Avaya Aura Communication Manager for H.323 Signalling and IP Trunks with Nortel Communication Server 1000 – Issue 1.0.
The CS 1000 has 60x H.323 trunks, the CM has 30x H.323 trunks. The CS 1000 H.323 trunks are also available for other CS 1000s in the network. 4 to 5 times a day the CS 1000M H.323 reached All Trunks Busy status.
Issue:
When a call was made from the Aura CM while the CS 1000M H.323 were ATB, the Aura CM phone received an engaged tone and fall-back to PSTN was not invoked. At that time the status of the H.323 on the CM showed that the 30x links were up, whereas on the CS 1000 all 60 were shown as Busy.
Normally between two CS 1000, if one side as ATB then the other side is made aware and falls-back to PSTN.
Any ideas as to why is this not happening with the CS1000 <-> Aura CM?
thanks,
Coman
