Our video conferencing system has a bad echo "the remote party can hear themselves" like audio loop feedback. The local site doesn't hear the echo. I looked and found that the echo canceler was not working and after I unplug the local site microphone and plug it back in it seems to reset the connection and the echo canceler starts working and the echo is resolved. Hears the kicker... the issue returns the next day. I fix the echo again "disconnect and reconnect the mic" at the local main site and no problems all day call after call meeting after meeting ... system startup and shutdown no issues at all "that day". Then everyone goes home and the next morning the first call of the day the remote site reports the echo again.
This pattern repeats day after day.
I have done everything I could think of to resolve the issue.
Updated Scopia software
Changed out mics
Looked at all the settings I could not see anything unusual.
The setup is 1 HD TV and 1 mic at the local main site and same for the remote site.
Audio is output through the TV speakers for both sites.
