Hello, I have an Avaya s8700 and we are on Communications Manager. We are about to order call classifier cards in order to turn on answering machine detection, and I am wanting to make sure I have all my steps correct. I know you have to make sure your Answer Supervision By Call Classifier customer option is set to Yes, under SIT Treatments your AMD Treatment is set to answered, your Pause and Talk durations are set, and that's about all I can find on the subject. Is it really that easy on the PBX side, or am I missing something? We use Genesys for our dialing system and I have already looked into the steps I need to take there, but I still feel like I am missing something on the PBX side. Anyone else out there experienced in this?
